INFORMATION  FOR  PARENTS

St. Marcellin School Uniform

St. Marcellin School requires that its students wear a school uniform. We believe the uniform gives our students a sense of pride and belonging within our school community. Our students are ambassadors of our school and wearing a uniform makes our students visible in the wider community.

We have minimised the items required to ensure our students look smart but is also affordable. The uniform is both comfortable and durable to cope with the demands of the school day and provides options in terms of preference and flexibility. We have selected a high-quality product which is hard-wearing and easy care. The school does not make any profit from the sale of the uniforms.

There will be a phased in approach for the new uniform.  Our Year 7 and 8 students do not need to go and purchase new items, unless of course they have outgrown their existing items. We will be in a transition period with our uniform. The transition period will last to the end of 2024, with all students expected to be in the new look uniform by the start of 2025.

We ask that your child/children wear the correct school uniform at all times. That their uniform is clean and tidy and the correct school shoes are worn.  School shoes are black roman sandals in summer and black school shoes in winter.  It is important for our students to take pride in their uniform and their appearance.

Andersons, in Victoria Avenue, will be stocking all of the St. Marcellin uniforms going forward.
