0.4 FTTE Principal Release (Part Time, Fixed Term, unt end of 2024) – Thursday and Friday Principal Release. (Fixed term due to uncertain role and review of class formation for 2025)

St Marcellin Primary School is located in Tāwhero, in the beautiful river city of Whanganui, New Zealand. It is a state integrated Catholic special character school catering for students in an inclusive, co-educational, multi-cultural environment, Years 0- 8.

St Marcellin Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic principal release teacher to join our team and facilitate exciting learning programmes for an amazing group of Y5-8 students on a Thursday and Friday.

Successful applicants will be expected to uphold/support the Catholic special character of the school. In addition to this, the successful applicant will be confident in planning, implementing and assessing Literacy and Numeracy programmes as well as integrating all other areas of the New Zealand Curriculum in their daily programmes.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Primary Teachers Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will depend on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

Position commences Thursday 13th June 2024 through to Friday 13th December 2024.
